These U.F.O reports were taken from the Dundee Courier the date's are
shown at the top of each report.
ANOTHER U.F.O SEEN IN SKIES OVER PERTH.
taken from dundee courier on friday 10 feb 95.
Another UNIDENTIFIED flying object has been observed in the skies over
tayside.
An object described as a perfect white circle was spotted in the sky near
perth by a pitlochery man and his two work colleagues on wednesday.
The man who does not want to be named said that he was in a car travelling
to the village of Stanely just after 4.30 pm when one of his colleagus
called his attention to a huge circular object in the sky.
At first the witness thought it had been a pilot messing around drawing
circles with the vapour trail of his aircraft , but the three of us got out
the car and stared at it for about half an hour and unlike vapour it did not
disperse he said.
It was very clear on wednesday so it could not have been cloud and it was
about twice the diameter of the moon.
Brian kelly of the Mill's observatory Dundee said he knew of no phenomenon
on wednesday that would account for the sighting.
At 4.30 the sun and the moon were both visible so it would have been to
bright to see anything else said Mr Kelly.
A spokesman for Dundee airport said they had recieved no reports of unusual
objects in the sky on wednesday but the low position of the sun at this
time of year - when it is almost on the horizon - could cause reflections
from satellites or aircraft to appear as unusual apparitions.
The sighting is the third in tayside in the last two weeks those sighting
being on january the 30 th and january the 29 th.
